December 18, 2009 Club Meeting

Another Awesome meeting, the Toastmaster Michael Madden gave us the theme of LOVE. We enjoyed 4 speakers. Each speaker received a quality evaluation.

And Lori Sheets is leading the show at Hardhats Toastmasters this Friday, May 22nd. We're in for a good one!

What Toastmasters Mean to You?

Toastmasters, especially Hardhats, could mean more than just giving speeches at 7am Friday mornings. It could mean catching up with friends, meeting new friends, listening to Ice Breaker speeches (a real treat at Hardhats) and having a delicious meal of eggs, bacon, fruit and pastries. Yumm! Please take a moment to share memorable moments at Hardhats Toastmasters!

A Great Turnout!

34 members and 4 guests was the turnout at our Friday morning meeting!! Our toastmaster Ben, had an excellent line of speakers: Helen, John and Rita. Given the economy, the theme was encouraging and had some humor to of it...of course.

Jim is one of a kind and I guarantee you'll enjoy the show Friday -2/6/09- when he leads the meeting as Toastmaster! You'll have a chance to speak your mind during Table Topics and also, listen to some very experienced speakers.

Roasting Time....

This Friday, January 30th we'll be roasting someone very special and who brings so much to our club that words alone can't express. But we still need to give her a Roast...it's the rules ;-)

If you have no idea what we're talking about, just maybe you need to come see for yourself. We'll even treat you to breakfast if it's your first time visit!

Oh, Yes We Can!!

Friday 1/23/09, we had one spectular meeting! There was something in air...attitudes were fun, light and airy. Ralph talked and demonstrated verbal and nonverbal communication. Ben also demonstrated and entertained us with a light hearted presentation on fruit. Whoever thought fruit and communication could be a fun topic....these guys did!
